As a relentless advocate for his clients, Attorney Kevin D. Hunter channels his natural empathy and compassion into his practice. As one of our two lead attorneys, he is instrumental in developing our team approach at Boudreaux Hunter & Associates, LLC. When Kevin represents a client, he collaborates with them in order to create innovative and empowering solutions.
Kevin earned his legal degree from South Texas College of Law, where he participated in multiple advocacy competitions. He served as an Officer for the Board of Advocates, the leadership organization for the nation's most renowned courtroom advocacy program.
As a varsity-level competitor, Kevin competed in:

- National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition (Pepperdine University School of Law)
Undergraduate Studies & Previous Career
Prior to becoming a family lawyer, Kevin earned a Bachelor's in Fire Science at Wayland Baptist University. He eventually served as a firefighter, demonstrating his lifelong desire to serve the public in high-stakes situations. Kevin's ability to operate under pressure and his compassion for people in distressing situations eventually shaped his skill as a lawyer. Kevin is also a veteran of the United States Air Force, further adding to his resume as a public servant.
Today, Kevin is honored to serve people as a family lawyer, knowing that his clients are facing the most difficult circumstances of their lives. His goal with each case is to provide clients with strong, decisive solutions that help them maintain control over their lives. As a certified mediator, he is equally capable outside the courtroom as he is inside of it.
With everything he does, Kevin demonstrates his care for people, his compassion for individuals in tough situations, and his willingness to offer up his talents and experience for the sake of others.
